While the set is a beautiful example of traditional artistry, it is fully functional and designed for daily tea service. The ceramic is durable enough for regular use, though we recommend hand washing to preserve the hand-painted details over time.

This set features a traditional teapot design without an integrated metal mesh strainer. It is best suited for brewing loose-leaf teas with larger leaves or using a separate infuser if you prefer finer tea varieties.

To maintain the integrity of the hand-painted finish, wash each piece gently by hand using mild soap and warm water. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or the dishwasher, as these can dull the glaze and damage the delicate landscape motifs.

Because these are crafted from traditional ceramic, they will conduct heat from the tea. We recommend holding the cups by the upper rim or allowing the tea to cool slightly before handling to ensure a comfortable grip.
