Kitsch Spa Socks

The socks feature an insulated gel lining that creates a barrier against your skin. When you apply your favorite lotion or cream beforehand, the gel traps that moisture, preventing it from evaporating and forcing it to absorb more deeply into your skin overnight.

While you can technically walk in them, the gel lining can be slippery on hard floors. They are designed primarily for stationary use, such as while you are sleeping or relaxing on the couch.

To preserve the integrity of the gel lining, it is best to hand wash them with mild soap and air dry. Avoid putting them in the dryer, as high heat can damage the gel material.

The open-toe design prevents your feet from overheating while you sleep, making them much more comfortable for all-night wear. It also allows for greater flexibility and prevents that restrictive, sweaty feeling common with full-coverage socks.

You don't need a specialized product, but thicker, emollient-rich creams or foot balms tend to work best. Avoid using products with harsh exfoliants or acids inside the socks, as the occlusive nature of the gel can sometimes cause irritation with those ingredients.
