The Fusion Carbon construction significantly reduces weight, making long skinning approaches much less fatiguing. While it is lighter, it maintains a mid-stiff flex that provides a snappy, responsive ride without feeling overly harsh or chattery on hardpack.

It is designed to excel in both. The tapered directional shape and directional rocker profile provide excellent float in deep snow, while the 3D Contour Base ensures fluid turn initiation and stability when you encounter variable or technical conditions.

The board uses Karakoram 3C Clips, which are industry-standard for creating a tight, secure connection. These clips pull the board halves together to eliminate play, giving you a ride feel that is remarkably close to a solid, one-piece snowboard.

This board is best for experienced backcountry riders who prioritize weight savings for long tours but refuse to compromise on downhill performance. If you are looking for a nimble, precise tool for steep lines and varied terrain, this is an ideal choice.

While it is a directional board designed primarily for forward riding, the rocker profile still allows for decent switch riding when necessary. However, it is not a twin-tip, so you will notice a difference in feel and performance compared to a freestyle-focused board.
