This hose has a 2-inch diameter, which is a standard size for most residential sand filter backwash ports. However, you should double-check the diameter of your filter's waste port before purchasing to ensure a secure fit.

For most standard residential pools, 50 feet is more than sufficient to reach a drainage area, lawn, or storm drain. It provides enough slack to maneuver around pool equipment and landscaping without being overly cumbersome to store.

The PVC is designed to handle the pressure of backwashing and the exposure to pool chemicals. While it is durable enough for regular maintenance, it is best practice to drain and store the hose out of direct sunlight when not in use to extend its lifespan.

This product is typically sold as the hose only. You will likely need to purchase a separate hose clamp if you do not already have one to secure the connection to your filter's waste port.
