Theory Data Flanged Grips

These grips are specifically designed for BMX riding. While they will physically fit most standard handlebars, the mushroom-style pattern and flanged design are optimized for the specific hand positioning and trick-heavy nature of BMX, which may feel different than standard MTB grips.

These are standard push-on grips. For the easiest installation, clean your handlebars thoroughly to remove any old residue, then slide the grips on. If they are a tight fit, a small amount of rubbing alcohol or hairspray can act as a temporary lubricant that dries tacky to keep the grips secure.

The included plastic bar ends are designed to fit standard steel or aluminum BMX handlebars. They provide a protective cap to prevent the bar ends from cutting into your grips or causing injury during a fall.

The flange—the raised rubber disc at the inner end of the grip—provides a tactile reference point for your hand placement. It helps keep your hand from sliding off the grip during aggressive maneuvers or tricks, offering extra security and control.
