Haro Pedals

These pedals use a standard 9/16-inch spindle thread, which fits almost all three-piece BMX cranks. They will not fit one-piece cranks, which require a 1/2-inch thread.

While alloy pedals are generally more impact-resistant, these high-strength polycarbonate pedals are designed specifically for street and park riding. They are lighter and slide better on ledges and rails, making them a preferred choice for technical BMX maneuvers.

The micro-knurled texture and molded pins offer excellent traction for dry street and park riding. However, because they lack the aggressive metal pins found on downhill pedals, they may feel slippery in wet or muddy conditions.

This hybrid design balances performance and longevity. The sealed outer bearing keeps dirt and debris out for a smooth spin, while the inner bushing adds durability against the heavy side-loading forces common in BMX riding.

While you can technically install them on any bike with 9/16-inch cranks, they are optimized specifically for BMX geometry. The platform size and pin configuration are tailored for tricks and park riding rather than the long-distance pedaling efficiency required for commuting or trail riding.
