Unlike a standard V60 where water flows through immediately, the Switch lets you steep the coffee for a specific duration before flipping the switch to release the drawdown.

Yes. You can leave the switch in the open position to use it exactly like a classic Hario V60, or use it for a hybrid method by steeping for a portion of the brew and finishing with a pour-over style drawdown.

This set uses standard 02-size Hario V60 cone filters. The kit includes a 40-pack to get you started, and they are widely available for future refills.

The dripper is made from high-quality heatproof borosilicate glass, which is durable for daily use but should be handled with care to avoid impact. The entire assembly is easy to disassemble, and all parts are designed for straightforward hand washing with mild soap.
