Yes, these are designed with a heavyweight cotton construction. They are substantial enough to dry pots, pans, and large dishes effectively without becoming instantly saturated.

As with most 100% cotton textiles, you should expect some minor shrinkage after the first wash. We recommend washing in cold water and tumble drying on low to minimize this and maintain the integrity of the woven fabric.

These are significantly more absorbent than standard flour sack towels. The woven, heavyweight construction allows them to hold more moisture, making them better suited for drying large items or cleaning up spills.

While they are durable cotton, these are dish towels, not oven mitts or pot holders. They are not designed to provide heat protection for handling hot pots or pans directly from the oven.

Because they are made of cotton, there may be a small amount of lint initially. This typically decreases after the first few wash cycles as the loose fibers are removed.
