The Abstract is designed for intermediate to advanced riders. While it is approachable, its responsive medium flex and performance-oriented tech are best utilized by someone who already has a solid foundation and is looking to progress their freestyle skills.

This hybrid profile gives you the best of both worlds. The camber section underfoot provides the stability and edge hold you need for carving groomers, while the rocker in the tips makes it easier to initiate turns and press on rails in the park.

Not at all. A true twin shape means the board is symmetrical from tip to tail, which makes riding switch feel identical to your regular stance. It is a massive advantage for freestyle riding, but it performs perfectly well when riding in your primary direction as well.

Sintered bases are more porous and durable than extruded ones, meaning they absorb wax better and glide faster. To keep it performing at its best, you should plan on waxing it regularly, especially if you are riding in warmer or abrasive snow conditions.

The Quadralizer sidecut combines different radii to create multiple contact points along the edge. This design significantly improves your edge control, allowing for more precise and aggressive carving, even on harder, icier snow.

With a medium flex, the Abstract is versatile enough for all-mountain freestyle, but it isn't a dedicated stiff freeride charger. It offers plenty of stability for jumps and side hits, but if you prioritize high-speed carving above all else, you might find it slightly softer than a dedicated directional stiff board.
