The contact points on the rack are fitted with protective plastic shields. These shields act as a buffer between the steel of the bar and the steel of the rack, preventing the knurling from getting flattened or scratched during daily use.

While it is designed as a floor-mounted unit for maximum safety in a commercial environment, its heavy-duty construction provides a stable footprint. However, for high-traffic commercial gyms, we strongly recommend bolting it down to ensure it remains completely secure.

Because this is a dual-sided rack, placing it directly against a wall will render one side inaccessible. It is best positioned in the center of a room or with enough clearance on both sides to allow users to access all ten barbell slots.

The rack is low-maintenance. We recommend periodically wiping down the frame to remove dust and checking the plastic contact points to ensure they remain securely in place and free of cracks.
