Linen Throw Blanket

The stonewashing process breaks down the natural stiffness of raw linen fibers. This gives the fabric a soft, relaxed, and lived-in feel immediately, rather than the crisp or scratchy texture often associated with new linen.

This is a lightweight, breathable throw designed primarily for layering or mild temperatures. While it adds a nice aesthetic touch to a bed in winter, it is not a heavy-duty thermal blanket and is best suited for year-round use as a decorative or light cover.

The blanket measures 52 inches by 68 inches. It is sized perfectly for draping over the arm of a sofa, the foot of a bed, or for use as a personal lap throw.

To maintain the integrity of the hand-stitched accents and fringe, we recommend machine washing on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Tumble dry on a low setting or hang to dry to prevent excessive fraying or shrinkage.

Linen is a natural fiber that holds dye well, but deep colors like indigo can sometimes transfer when new. We recommend washing the throw once before placing it on light-colored upholstery to ensure any excess surface dye is removed.
