S.O.L. Blanket

Unlike disposable Mylar blankets that tear easily and make significant noise, this blanket uses a durable direct-weave fabric. It is designed for repeated use, resists tearing, and functions more like a tarp or shelter material than a flimsy sheet.

You can use it as a standalone shelter. The blanket features reinforced grommets, allowing you to rig it as a lean-to or overhead cover using paracord or trekking poles. While it doesn't come with stakes or cordage, the grommets make it easy to secure with whatever gear you have on hand.

While it provides excellent thermal reflection to trap body heat, it is not insulated like a sleeping bag. It is best used as an emergency shelter, a ground tarp, or an outer layer to block wind and rain, rather than a direct replacement for a sleeping bag.

It weighs 8 ounces and is designed to pack down small, making it easy to stash in a daypack or emergency kit without taking up significant space. It is roughly the size of a standard water bottle when folded tightly.
