Yes, the ceramic coating is designed for excellent food release. However, because it is a ceramic-based nonstick rather than traditional PTFE, it performs best when used with a small amount of oil or butter and over low-to-medium heat.

It is best to avoid metal utensils. While the hard-anodized exterior is durable, the ceramic nonstick surface can be scratched or damaged by metal tools. We recommend using silicone, wood, or nylon utensils to extend the life of the coating.

This size is best suited for smaller portions, such as frying two eggs, searing a single protein, or sautéing vegetables for one or two people. If you are cooking for a family, you will likely find this pan too small for main courses.

Hard-anodized aluminum is known for being sturdy and warp-resistant, but it is generally lighter than cast iron. This pan offers a solid, professional feel without being cumbersome to maneuver on the stovetop.

While many ceramic pans are technically dishwasher safe, we strongly recommend hand washing. The harsh detergents and high heat of a dishwasher can degrade the nonstick coating over time, shortening the lifespan of your pan.
