Command Wire Hook

These hooks are designed specifically for smooth, clean surfaces like painted drywall, finished wood, tile, or glass. They generally do not adhere well to textured surfaces, wallpaper, or delicate materials, which may peel or tear upon removal.

Each Large Wire Hook is rated to hold up to 5 pounds. Be sure to check the packaging for the specific weight capacity, as exceeding this limit can cause the adhesive to fail.

When removed according to the instructions—by stretching the tab slowly straight down against the wall—the adhesive is designed to release cleanly without damaging paint or leaving residue. Avoid pulling the tab outward, as this can sometimes lift the paint.

While these are designed for indoor use, standard Command strips can lose their hold in high-humidity areas like bathrooms. For shower or bathroom environments, look for Command's specialized 'Water Resistant' or 'Bath' line of products.

The hooks themselves are reusable, but the adhesive strips are single-use. To move a hook, you will need to purchase a pack of replacement Command adhesive strips.
