As you elevate the head of the bed, the base automatically slides backward toward the wall. This keeps your mattress aligned with your nightstand, ensuring your phone, lamp, or water remain within easy reach while you are sitting up.

This base is designed specifically for flexible mattresses, such as memory foam or latex. It is not recommended for use with traditional innerspring mattresses, as the coils may not bend properly or could be damaged by the adjustable movement.

Pillow tilt allows you to adjust the very top section of the base independently of the head incline. It is particularly useful for reading or watching TV in bed, as it provides extra neck support without requiring you to stack multiple pillows.
