The lids are designed to be airtight, which is excellent for keeping dry goods fresh or storing solid foods. While they are secure, they are not specifically engineered as spill-proof containers for carrying liquids like soups or dressings in a bag.

The glass lids offer a classic, uniform aesthetic and are completely non-porous, which is ideal if you prefer to avoid plastic contact with your food. The plastic lid options are generally lighter, easier to open, and less prone to breakage if dropped.
