Vision XDR Freehub

This specific freehub body is designed exclusively for Vision SC40 and SC55 DB CL wheelsets. It will not fit other Vision models or hubs from different manufacturers.

You need this component if you are upgrading to a SRAM AXS drivetrain or any other groupset that requires an XDR-compatible cassette. It allows you to use cassettes with smaller cogs, typically down to 10 teeth, which provides a wider gear range.

Installation is generally straightforward if you have basic bike maintenance tools, such as a cassette tool and a cone wrench or hex key set. However, if you are not comfortable servicing your own hubs or adjusting your drivetrain, we recommend having a professional mechanic handle the swap to ensure proper bearing preload and alignment.

In most cases, you will only need the freehub body itself. However, ensure you have the correct cassette lockring tool for your new XDR cassette, as the installation process for the cassette itself differs slightly from standard HG-style freehubs.

Check the model name printed on your wheel rim or hub shell. This part is specifically engineered for the SC40 and SC55 DB CL series; if your wheels are a different model or an older generation, this freehub will not be compatible.
