Moochyface Beeswax Food Wrap

Hand-wash your wraps in cool water using a mild, eco-friendly soap. Avoid hot water, as it will melt the beeswax coating and ruin the wrap's stickiness.

It is generally recommended to avoid using beeswax wraps directly on raw meat or fish. Because they cannot be washed in hot water or sanitized in a dishwasher, it is safer to use a glass or ceramic container and cover that with the wrap instead.

With proper care and daily use, you can expect these wraps to last about 12 months. If they start to lose their tackiness before then, you can refresh them by placing them in a low-temperature oven for a few minutes to redistribute the wax.

Because they are made from 100% cotton and natural waxes, these wraps are fully biodegradable. You can simply cut them into strips and add them to your home compost bin.

You might notice a very faint, pleasant scent of beeswax or pine resin initially, but it does not transfer to your food. The wraps create a firm seal around bowls and produce without leaving any sticky residue behind.
