The porous porcelain flower acts as a natural wick. Once placed in the glass vessel, the oil travels up through the flower's stem and evaporates from the petals, releasing the fragrance into the air without needing heat or electricity.

Because this is a passive evaporative diffuser, you cannot adjust the intensity with a dial or switch. The strength of the scent is determined by the ambient airflow and temperature of the room; placing it in a smaller, warmer space will generally result in a stronger throw.

The longevity of the oil depends on the environment, such as humidity and airflow. On average, the 200 mL bottles provide several weeks of consistent fragrance, though you may find you need to refill the vessel periodically to keep the flower saturated.

While the system is designed for the included African Daisy oil, you can technically use other fragrance oils. However, ensure they are compatible with passive evaporation, as thicker or lower-quality oils may clog the porous porcelain and prevent proper wicking.
