You can use this spa both indoors and outdoors. However, if placing it inside, ensure your floor can support the significant weight of the spa when filled with water and that the room has adequate ventilation to handle the humidity.

The heater typically raises the water temperature by about 2 to 3 degrees Fahrenheit per hour. Depending on your starting water temperature and the ambient air temperature, it can take anywhere from 12 to 24 hours to reach the maximum setting.

The Intex PureSpa Plus runs on a standard 120V household outlet. It is designed to be plugged into a grounded GFCI-protected outlet, which is a standard safety requirement for portable spas.

Maintenance is similar to a traditional hot tub but on a smaller scale. You will need to test the water chemistry regularly, clean or replace the filter cartridge weekly, and use appropriate sanitizing chemicals to keep the water safe and clear.

While the spa is rated for four people, that capacity assumes everyone is sitting close together. For a more comfortable experience where you can actually stretch out, it is best suited for two to three adults.

The spa uses a high-strength, puncture-resistant laminated PVC construction. While it is quite durable for regular use, you should still place it on a flat, level surface free of sharp objects to prevent accidental damage.
