The narrow neck is specifically engineered to cradle the bulb, keeping it suspended above the water line. This prevents the bulb from rotting while allowing the roots to grow freely into the water below.

Because each piece is mouth-blown in small batches, you should expect slight variations in shape, size, and clarity. These unique characteristics are a hallmark of the artisanal glassmaking process and are not considered defects.

The Large vase (11 inches tall) is best suited for standard, full-sized amaryllis bulbs, while the Medium vase (8 inches tall) is ideal for smaller bulb varieties or younger plants. Ensure the bulb's base is wider than the neck diameter you select so it sits securely on top.

We recommend hand-washing with warm water and a mild, non-abrasive soap. Because the glass is delicate, avoid using harsh scrubbers or putting it in the dishwasher, which can cause thermal shock or scratching.

While it is specifically engineered for amaryllis, the design works well for other large bulbs that require similar water-rooting conditions, such as paperwhites or hyacinths, provided the bulb size fits securely in the neck opening.
