This plant thrives in bright, indirect light. Place it near a window with a sheer curtain or in a spot that receives plenty of ambient brightness throughout the day, but avoid harsh, direct sun which can scorch its delicate white variegation.

The variegation on a White Princess is random and unpredictable, which is part of its appeal. While some leaves may be heavily splashed with white, others might appear more green; this is normal behavior for the plant and not a sign of poor health.

Water your plant when the top 1 to 2 inches of soil feel dry to the touch. It prefers consistent moisture but dislikes sitting in soggy soil, so ensure your pot has adequate drainage to prevent root rot.

While it can adapt to average household humidity, the White Princess performs best in higher humidity environments. If your home is particularly dry, consider placing it near a humidifier or grouping it with other plants to create a more favorable microclimate.

In optimal conditions, the White Princess Philodendron can reach a mature height of about 4 feet with a spread of 2 feet. Because of its clumping, upright growth habit, it stays relatively contained compared to vining philodendrons, making it a great choice for a plant stand or mantle.
