Bare-root means the plant is shipped without soil around the roots. Because the roots are exposed, you must plant them immediately upon arrival to keep them hydrated and ensure they establish successfully in your pond or water garden.

Lindernia grandiflora is only hardy in zones 7 through 10. If you live in a colder climate, you can treat it as an annual or bring it indoors during the winter, but it will not survive freezing temperatures outdoors.

Blue Moneywort is a creeping, mat-forming plant that typically spreads 8 to 10 inches. It is an excellent ground cover for moist areas or shallow water, but its growth rate will depend on your specific water conditions and sunlight exposure.

For the best growth and flowering, this plant prefers a spot with partial to full sun. While it can tolerate some shade, you will see more of its signature violet and white flowers when it receives adequate light.
