The bamboo lids are designed to sit snugly on the glass jars, providing a secure seal that keeps your spices fresh. While they are excellent for pantry storage, they are not vacuum-sealed, so they are best suited for dry spices rather than liquids.

The glass jars are dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand-washing the bamboo lids. Prolonged exposure to high heat and water can cause the natural wood to warp or lose its finish over time.

Yes, most standard grocery store spice containers hold between 2 and 3 ounces, so a 4-ounce jar will comfortably accommodate the entire contents of a typical store-bought spice bottle with room to spare.

The included labels are designed to be durable and resistant to minor spills, but they are not fully waterproof. If you need to clean the jars, we suggest wiping them down with a damp cloth rather than submerging the labels directly in water.

The square shape is specifically designed to maximize space. Because they have flat sides, they sit flush against one another, which helps eliminate wasted space compared to round jars.

The included funnel works perfectly for most ground spices, herbs, and seeds. If you are working with particularly coarse or chunky spices, you may need to guide them through the funnel opening manually to prevent clogging.
