The 30-inch diameter is spacious enough to accommodate standard-sized firewood logs comfortably. You do not need specialized fuel, though using dry, seasoned wood will always yield the best smokeless results.

While the internal temperature is high, the fire pit is designed to contain that heat. However, we strongly recommend placing it on a non-combustible surface like stone, concrete, or a dedicated fire-resistant mat to protect your deck from radiant heat and stray embers.

Because of the high-efficiency combustion, the fire pit cools down faster than traditional models, but you should still wait until the steel is cool to the touch—typically 45 to 60 minutes after the fire is fully extinguished—before attempting to disassemble it.
