The ceramic body will become warm during operation as it heats the wax, but it is designed to be safe for standard handling. However, we recommend allowing the unit to cool completely before moving it or changing the wax.

The easiest method is to turn the warmer off and let the wax cool until it is solid but still slightly soft. You can then gently pop the wax disc out with a butter knife or paper towel, or use cotton balls to absorb the melted wax while it is still warm.

This unit is specifically designed as a wax melt warmer. While some users may experiment with oils, the heating element is optimized for the consistency and melting point of wax, so we recommend sticking to wax melts for the best results.

The cord is three feet long, providing enough reach for most side tables or mantels. It does not feature an automatic shutoff, so please remember to turn the unit off using the dial switch when you leave the room or finish using it.
