DMM Torque Nuts

While standard nuts rely on simple wedging, Torque Nuts feature a specialized shape that allows them to cam into place. This gives you the security of active protection in placements where a normal nut might not sit securely.

They are an excellent addition to a developing rack. Because they cover larger, awkward placements that standard nuts often miss, they provide extra versatility without adding significant weight to your harness.

The groove protects the Dyneema sling from abrasion against the rock. By recessing the sling into the metal, DMM significantly extends the lifespan of the connection point and makes the unit easier to handle.

When placed in a constriction, the nut is designed to rotate slightly under load. This rotation forces the nut to bite into the rock, effectively locking it into place similarly to a camming device.
