Yes, the ducting is designed to be easily trimmed. You can use standard wire cutters to snip the internal steel spiral and a utility knife to cut through the foil and PVC layers to achieve your desired length.

While the internal aluminum layer is flame-resistant, this product is primarily engineered for ventilation and air circulation systems, such as grow tents or HVAC boosters. It is not rated for the high-heat exhaust environments found in standard clothes dryers.

The ducting comes with two stainless steel clamps, which are sufficient for attaching the hose to standard 4-inch ports. You will not need to purchase additional mounting hardware unless your specific setup requires a unique adapter or flange.

The internal steel-wire spiral provides excellent structural integrity, allowing you to bend and route the ducting through tight spaces without it collapsing. It is highly maneuverable, though you should avoid sharp, 90-degree kinks to maintain optimal airflow.
