Laylax Prometheus G&G EG Barrel

This barrel is specifically engineered for the G&G ARP9 and ARP 556 platforms. While it may physically fit other AEGs with similar length requirements, we recommend verifying your specific rifle's hop-up unit compatibility before installation to ensure a proper air seal.

The 6.03mm diameter creates a tighter air cushion around the BB as it travels down the barrel. This reduces internal turbulence and vibration, which directly translates to more consistent shot groupings and improved accuracy at range.

Because this barrel is made from high-strength stainless steel rather than coated brass, it is naturally more resistant to oxidation and wear. You should still clean it periodically with a dry, lint-free patch and a small amount of silicone oil to remove debris buildup.

This strict tolerance ensures that the internal diameter remains uniform from end to end. This consistency prevents the BB from bouncing or shifting unpredictably as it exits the barrel, resulting in tighter, more predictable shot patterns.

While not strictly required, upgrading your hop-up bucking at the same time is a smart move. Since you are already disassembling the hop-up unit, installing a fresh, high-quality bucking will help you maximize the accuracy gains provided by the new barrel.
