You can use the Arctic Armor Leaf Net either on its own during the autumn months or layered directly over your solid winter cover. Using it over a winter cover is the most effective way to simplify your spring opening, as it allows you to easily remove the bulk of the leaves before taking off the main cover.

The net features reinforced material loops around the perimeter designed for use with deck weights. Please note that these weights are not included with the cover, so you will need to purchase water bags or other suitable deck weights separately to keep the net taut and in place.

The four-foot overlap is designed to ensure the net extends well beyond the edge of your pool, providing full coverage even if the net shifts slightly. This extra material helps prevent gaps where leaves and debris could otherwise slip into the water.

While the mesh is specifically engineered to catch leaves and larger debris, its ability to stop smaller items like pine needles depends on the specific size of the needles.
