AlorAir MERV-1 Filter

These MERV-1 filters are specifically engineered to fit the AlorAir HD55, HD55S, HDi65, and HDi65S dehumidifier models. They are not designed for other AlorAir units, so please verify your model number before purchasing.

A MERV-1 filter is designed to capture larger dust particles and debris before they enter the dehumidifier. Its main job is to prevent internal clogging, which protects the machine's components and ensures consistent airflow for efficient moisture removal.

While the exact frequency depends on your environment, we recommend checking the filter every few months. If you notice a visible buildup of dust or debris, it is time to swap it out to maintain optimal performance and airflow.

These filters are designed as disposable replacements rather than washable, reusable units. Replacing them ensures that you are not reintroducing trapped dust or potential mold spores back into your crawl space or basement air.

While any filter creates a slight resistance, these are specifically engineered for your AlorAir unit to balance filtration with necessary airflow. Running the dehumidifier without a filter is not recommended, as it will allow dust to accumulate on internal coils and significantly reduce the machine's lifespan.
