The bark is left on to provide that signature rustic aesthetic, but it is securely attached during the manufacturing process. Because the table is finished with a clear-coat catalyzed lacquer, the bark is sealed and protected, making it durable enough for regular daily use.

The catalyzed lacquer finish makes the surface easy to wipe down with a soft, damp cloth. Because of the natural texture of the hickory logs, we recommend using a soft-bristled brush or a vacuum attachment occasionally to remove any dust that might settle in the crevices of the wood.

This table is designed specifically for indoor use. While it is built from dense, durable hickory, the finish and construction are not rated for the fluctuations in humidity and temperature found in outdoor or semi-outdoor environments.

A 60-inch rectangular table typically seats four people comfortably—two on each side. Depending on the width of your dining chairs, you may be able to squeeze in one person at each end, but it is best suited as a four-person dining piece.

The warranty covers manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. It does not cover normal wear and tear, damage resulting from misuse, or natural changes in the wood over time, such as minor checking or color shifts.
