Bloomist Yak Down Beehive Knit Throw

Yak down is exceptionally warm, often comparable to or even warmer than cashmere, while remaining breathable. It has a soft, downy hand-feel that is cozy against the skin without being overly heavy.

Because the fibers are left in their natural, unbleached state, you may notice subtle variations in tone. This is a hallmark of authentic, undyed wool and adds to the organic, artisanal character of the piece.

Due to the delicate nature of the natural fibers, we recommend professional dry cleaning to maintain the integrity of the knit and the softness of the down. Avoid machine washing or tumble drying, which can felt or shrink the material.

The beehive knit creates a textured, geometric structure that is relatively durable. However, like any chunky knit, it is best to keep it away from sharp objects or pets with claws to prevent snagging the loops.

Some minor shedding is normal with natural, high-quality animal fibers like yak down, especially during initial use. This typically settles down quickly and does not affect the longevity or warmth of the throw.
