A directional antenna, or Yagi, must be physically pointed toward your nearest cell tower to work effectively. Unlike omnidirectional antennas that pull signal from all directions, this one focuses its gain on a specific point, which is ideal for rural areas or locations with very weak signal.

This antenna is compatible with any 75-ohm cellular booster system that uses an F-Female connector. It is designed to work across all major cellular bands, making it a versatile upgrade for most standard residential or small business setups.

For the best performance, this antenna should be mounted outdoors, ideally on a pole or mast on your roof. Because it is directional, it needs a clear line of sight to the cell tower, which is almost always obstructed by walls or roofing materials if placed indoors.

The included cable is only 0.75 feet long, which is intended to connect the antenna directly to a longer cable run or a surge protector near the mounting point. You will almost certainly need to purchase a separate, longer coaxial cable to run from the antenna to your booster unit inside the building.

The unit features a UV-stable, sealed radome that is fully waterproof and built to withstand year-round exposure to the elements. It is designed for permanent outdoor installation and will hold up against rain, snow, and sun without degrading performance.

You can use apps like OpenSignal or CellMapper to locate the nearest cell towers for your specific carrier. Once you have a general direction, you may need to make small adjustments to the tilt and swivel bracket while monitoring your booster's signal strength to find the optimal 'sweet spot.'
