These baskets are engineered specifically for Swix alpine racing poles. While they fit most standard Swix racing shafts, we recommend checking your specific pole model's ferrule diameter to ensure a secure, precise fit.

Replacing the ferrule ensures the basket sits at the correct height and maintains a secure connection to the shaft. Over time, ferrules can wear down or lose their grip, which compromises your pole plant precision on icy terrain.

Installation is straightforward and typically requires no specialized tools. Most Swix racing baskets are designed to be pressed onto the ferrule or shaft, though using a heat gun or warm water can make the plastic more pliable for an easier fit.
