Twin-wall polycarbonate provides superior insulation compared to single-pane glass, helping to maintain stable growing temperatures throughout the seasons. It also diffuses sunlight, which reduces harsh shadows and prevents delicate plants from getting scorched.

The redwood frame is structurally robust, but like any greenhouse, its performance in extreme weather depends on proper anchoring. We recommend ensuring the base is securely fastened to a level foundation to maximize its stability against wind and snow loads.

The footprint of this greenhouse is 6 feet wide by 12 feet long. You should plan for at least an additional 2 to 3 feet of clearance around the perimeter to allow for easy access, maintenance, and proper airflow.

While the kit is designed for straightforward assembly, it is a significant project that requires basic carpentry skills and tools. We recommend having two people available to help with the frame construction and panel installation, which typically takes a full weekend to complete.
