They are designed for both. The 101a durometer and Hardline shape provide the speed and slide control needed for technical street skating, while the wider riding surface offers the stability required for transitions and park riding.

The Hardline shape features a conical edge and a wider contact patch. This design gives you a more stable platform for locking into grinds and provides extra surface area for consistent, predictable slides.

These wheels are built with specialized anti-flatspot technology specifically to resist that issue. While no urethane is completely immune to flatspots under extreme abuse, this construction is engineered to maintain its round shape significantly longer than standard wheels.

56mm is on the larger side for street skating, which helps with maintaining speed and rolling over rougher pavement. If you prefer a lighter, more responsive setup for flip tricks, you might find them slightly bulky, but they are excellent if you prioritize speed and stability.

At 101a, these are quite hard wheels. They will feel very fast and responsive on smooth concrete or wood, but you will feel more vibration and road chatter on rough asphalt compared to a softer, all-terrain wheel.
