For best results, apply the conditioner whenever the wood starts to look dry, dull, or feels rough to the touch. Depending on how frequently you wash your items, a light application every few months is usually sufficient to maintain hydration.

It will not stain the wood, but it will deepen the natural tones and enhance the grain patterns. Expect a richer, more vibrant version of your wood's existing color once the conditioner has been absorbed.

This conditioner is designed to penetrate into the wood fibers, so it works best on raw or previously oiled wood. It will not be effective on wood that has been sealed with polyurethane, lacquer, or varnish, as those finishes block the oil from soaking in.

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to work a small amount of the conditioner into the wood. Let it sit for at least one hour to allow for deep penetration, then buff away any excess with a clean cloth until the surface feels smooth and not tacky.
