This cage is versatile and can be set up on grass, dirt, or concrete. We recommend using the included rubber feet to protect hard surfaces like concrete or asphalt from the steel frame.

While it is possible to assemble the frame alone, we strongly recommend having at least two people to help with the structure and netting. The process is straightforward, but the size of the 40-foot frame makes it much easier with an extra set of hands.

The #36 gauge high-density polyethylene netting is a standard for residential and light commercial use. It is designed to withstand repeated impact from baseballs and softballs without fraying or tearing prematurely.

The steel frame is sturdy, but for added stability in open areas or high-wind environments, we recommend securing the base to the ground using ground stakes or sandbags. This prevents the cage from shifting during heavy gusts.

Yes, the high-density polyethylene netting is treated to resist UV degradation. This helps maintain the net's strength and flexibility even when left outdoors for extended periods.

You will need basic hand tools, such as a wrench or socket set, to tighten the frame connections. A ladder is also highly recommended to help drape the netting over the top of the 10-foot frame.
