The Powerhouse is designed for experienced paddlers tackling technical whitewater and big creeks. Its large blade surface area requires significant physical conditioning to use effectively over long sessions, so it is generally better suited for intermediate to advanced users.

The 30-degree offset is a sweet spot for whitewater. It provides enough angle to reduce wind resistance during the recovery phase while still offering a solid, reliable surface for bracing and rolling when you need it most.

Fiberglass strikes an excellent balance between weight and durability. It is significantly lighter than plastic paddles, which reduces fatigue on long river days, yet it remains robust enough to handle the impacts and scrapes common in rocky creeking environments.

This specific model is a one-piece paddle. This construction provides maximum stiffness and power transfer, as there are no joints to flex or potentially fail, though it does mean you will need to consider transport space for a full-length shaft.
