The BRX speakers are quite flexible, with a recommended amplifier power range of 10 to 250 watts per channel. Because they have a sensitivity of 90 dB, they can be driven effectively by a wide variety of amplifiers, from modest integrated amps to high-powered separates.

While they excel at critical two-channel music listening, their precise imaging and wide soundstage make them an excellent choice for high-performance home theater systems. They work particularly well as main front speakers or as high-end surround channels in a larger setup.

The folded ribbon tweeter is designed to move air more efficiently than a standard dome tweeter. This results in exceptional high-frequency clarity, detail, and a lack of distortion, providing a more realistic and open sound profile.

With a frequency response that extends down to 40 Hz, these speakers offer impressive bass for their size. However, if you are listening to bass-heavy music or using them in a home theater, adding a dedicated subwoofer will provide the deep, visceral low-end impact that compact speakers physically cannot produce on their own.

Each speaker measures approximately 8 inches wide by 12 inches high and 12 inches deep. While compact, they are relatively deep, so ensure your bookshelf or speaker stands can accommodate that 12-inch depth comfortably.

This design focuses on minimizing cabinet vibration and resonance. By keeping the cabinet inert, the speakers ensure that the sound you hear is coming purely from the drivers, resulting in cleaner, more accurate audio without the 'boxy' coloration often found in smaller speakers.
