Because the two 8-inch drivers fire in opposite directions, they cancel out mechanical energy. This means the subwoofer won't vibrate or 'walk' across your floor, allowing you to place it on hard surfaces or inside cabinets without worrying about unwanted movement or rattling.

While the 3000 Micro is designed for compact spaces, its 800-watt amplifier and dual-driver configuration allow it to punch well above its weight. It is excellent for medium-sized rooms, though for very large, open-concept spaces, you might consider a larger ported model for maximum output.

A sealed cabinet provides tighter, more accurate bass response compared to ported designs. It is generally preferred for music listening because it delivers precise, musical transients rather than the boomier, more resonant sound often found in ported subwoofers.

The SVS 3000 Micro connects via a standard wired subwoofer cable (RCA). It is compatible with virtually any home theater receiver or integrated amplifier that features a dedicated subwoofer output or LFE channel.

The integrated DSP acts as a brain for the subwoofer, constantly monitoring the signal to ensure the amplifier and drivers are working in perfect harmony. This prevents distortion at high volumes and allows the sub to maintain deep, accurate bass extension even at lower listening levels.
