Because this piece is crafted from natural terracotta, it is porous and not guaranteed to be watertight. We recommend using it for dried botanicals or faux stems, or placing a liner inside if you intend to use it with fresh flowers.

The aged finish is intentional, designed to give the terracotta a weathered, authentic patina from day one. It is a matte, organic surface that will not chip or peel, though it may develop subtle variations in tone as it interacts with its environment.

The Civita Vase is intentionally neutral. Its cylindrical shape and earthy texture make it a natural fit for rustic, organic modern, or minimalist spaces, but it is versatile enough to ground more eclectic or traditional rooms.

Dust the surface gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive sponges, as these can damage the matte, aged finish of the terracotta.

Terracotta is a dense, substantial material, so the vase has a solid weight that provides good stability. It is well-suited for holding decorative branches or dried arrangements without tipping.
