The blend offers a balance between the warmth of virgin wool and the softness of cotton. It is designed to be breathable and comfortable for year-round use, though those with extreme wool sensitivities may still prefer to use it as a throw rather than directly against bare skin.

The ultrasuede binding serves two purposes: it provides a clean, polished aesthetic and reinforces the edges to prevent fraying. This durable finish ensures the blanket maintains its shape and quality even with regular use.

Pendleton partners with the American Indian College Fund to create these exclusive designs. A portion of the proceeds from every blanket sold goes directly toward funding scholarships and educational support for Native American students.

At 80 inches by 64 inches, this is sized as a standard throw or twin-sized blanket. It works well as an accent piece draped over a sofa or a chair, or as an extra layer at the foot of a bed, but it will not provide full coverage for a queen or king-sized mattress.

Because of the wool content, we recommend dry cleaning to preserve the integrity of the fibers and the ultrasuede binding. Avoid machine washing or tumble drying, as this can cause the wool to felt or shrink.
