AudioQuest Boxer RCA Cable

The Boxer is specifically engineered as a subwoofer interconnect cable. It is designed to connect your amplifier, receiver, or soundbar to a powered subwoofer, ensuring the low-frequency signal remains clean and articulate.

The solid 1.25% silver-plated copper conductors are used to minimize distortion. By placing the silver on the outside of the conductor, the cable improves high-frequency performance while maintaining the solid bass response of copper, resulting in a more detailed and dynamic sound.

This design is optimized for single-ended applications, which are standard for most subwoofer connections. It separates the ground path from the signal path, which helps prevent the ground from being used as an inferior audio conductor and reduces noise.

The polyethylene air-tube insulation is used because air is the most efficient insulator and absorbs almost no energy. This minimizes the interaction between the signal and the insulation material, which helps preserve clarity and prevents signal smearing.

This shielding system is designed to absorb radio frequency interference before it can reach the cable's ground plane. By preventing this noise from entering the signal path, it ensures that your subwoofer receives a cleaner, more accurate signal without unwanted hum or interference.
