Yes. Despite the cosmetic imperfections, these are built from the same high-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and CNC machined to the same exacting standards as our standard clamps. They are designed to handle the high-stress environments of downhill, freeride, and dirt jump disciplines.

You need to match the clamp size to the outer diameter of your seat tube, not the diameter of your seatpost itself. The easiest way to find this is to check the specs on your frame manufacturer's website or look for the size laser-etched on your current seatpost clamp.

While the clamp is compatible with carbon frames, you should always verify the torque specifications provided by your frame manufacturer. Because this is a high-strength aluminum clamp, it is easy to overtighten, so we recommend using a torque wrench to avoid damaging carbon components.

These upcycled clamps are sold as-is regarding their cosmetic condition, but they are still covered under our standard warranty for structural and functional defects. If the clamp fails to perform its job of securing your seatpost, we will support you.
