Century Student Gloves

These gloves are primarily designed for light sparring and martial arts drills. While the 0.625-inch foam provides decent shock absorption, they are not intended for the high-impact, repetitive stress of heavy bag training, which typically requires denser, specialized padding.

Century Student Gloves generally follow standard sizing conventions based on hand width and circumference. We recommend measuring the circumference of your dominant hand just below the knuckles and comparing it to the manufacturer's size chart to ensure a secure, comfortable fit.

The elastic strap with a hook-and-loop closure provides a secure, adjustable fit that keeps the glove in place during practice. However, because they lack the rigid wrist wrap found in professional-grade boxing gloves, you may want to wear hand wraps underneath for additional stability.

Because they are made of dipped foam, you should not submerge them in water or put them in the washing machine. Instead, wipe them down with a damp cloth and mild soap after each session, and let them air dry completely in a well-ventilated area to prevent odor buildup.

Full finger coverage provides an extra layer of protection against scrapes and impacts during contact drills. It also helps keep the fingers aligned and secure, which is particularly helpful for students who are still refining their striking technique.
