L.L.Bean Sunbrella Hammock

Sunbrella fabric is engineered specifically for outdoor performance. Unlike standard cotton or polyester, it is solution-dyed, meaning the color is locked into the fiber to resist fading from UV rays, and it is naturally resistant to mold and mildew.

The spreader bars are included with the hammock. They are designed to keep the bed flat and stable, which makes it easier to get in and out compared to gathered-end hammocks.

Because the fabric is weather-resistant, you can generally spot clean it with a mild soap and water solution. For a deeper clean, use a soft brush to gently scrub the surface and rinse thoroughly with a hose, then allow it to air dry completely.

The quilted design adds a layer of plush padding between the fabric layers, which provides more cushioning than a standard woven rope hammock. It feels soft and supportive, making it well-suited for longer periods of lounging.

While the materials are weather-resistant and designed to handle sun and rain, taking the hammock down during the off-season or during severe storms will significantly extend its lifespan. If you choose to leave it out, consider using a hammock cover to protect it from debris and excessive moisture.
