Unlike June-bearing varieties that produce one large crop, Albion is an everbearing strawberry. This means it will produce fruit consistently from late spring through the fall, giving you a steady supply of berries rather than a single massive harvest.

Albion strawberries are hardy in USDA zones 4-8. If your local climate falls within this range, these plants should thrive, provided they receive the required full sun and proper soil conditions.

For optimal growth and air circulation, space your Albion bare root plants 12 to 15 inches apart. This spacing prevents overcrowding, which is key to maintaining the plant's disease resistance.

Albion strawberries require fertile, well-drained soil with a pH between 5.5 and 6.5. Ensuring your soil drains well is critical, as these plants do not tolerate waterlogged roots.

Plan to provide your strawberry plants with 1 to 1.5 inches of water per week. Consistent moisture is essential for fruit production, especially during the warmer months when the plants are actively bearing fruit.
