Eastern BMX Scythe Bars

These bars are constructed from 4130 chromoly steel that has been post-weld heat-treated. This process significantly increases the strength-to-weight ratio, making the bars much more resistant to bending or snapping under the stress of hard landings and daily riding.

The multi-butted grip tubing and double-butted crossbar remove excess material where it isn't needed for structural integrity. This reduces the overall weight of the bars without sacrificing the strength required for aggressive BMX riding.

The E3 welding process is a specialized technique Eastern uses to reinforce the joints where the tubing meets. It is designed to maximize structural integrity at the most common failure points, ensuring the bars can handle intense riding conditions.

These bars feature a 12-degree upsweep and a 1-degree backsweep. This geometry is designed to provide a responsive, upright feel that many riders prefer for technical maneuvers and precise bike control.

The limited lifetime warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal riding conditions. It is not a crash replacement policy, but it does protect you against manufacturing flaws that might compromise the structural integrity of the bars over time.
